Terms of Sale

  • All public prices include VAT
  • All wines available in our online store are actually available at our headquarters
  • The minimum order is 6 bottles
  • The site is updated several times a day
  • The shipment will always be billed with a regular accompanying invoice, and unless otherwise indicated by the customer, will be made available online in their personal order page (“Orders”).
  • The published prices of the products and offers may vary by vintages and formats, for this reason Bortoluzzi Wine Shop reserves the right to make changes without any notice.
  • If a price has been published incorrectly by mistake, Bortoluzzi Wine Shop reserves the right to cancel the sale.
  • No sales of wine to minors under 18 years old
  • No sales of spirits to minors under 18 years old


  • Shipments in Italy are at the recipient’s expense, free for orders over €150
  • International shipments: we do not handle international shipments directly, please contact your preferred carrier (DHL, UPS, MBE, TNT) and request a quote for the collection of the goods from our store and their shipment to the EU or non-EU country of your choice. You will manage the shipment with the carrier, and we will hand over the goods to your carrier after we have received the payment for them.
  • In any case, shipping costs are automatically calculated based on weight (approximately 1.5kg for 75cl bottles of sparkling wine, approximately 1.3kg for 75cl bottles of still wine).

Defective Goods / Damaged Shipment

In case of defective goods

  • The same can be returned to Bortoluzzi Wine Shop within 10 days of delivery.
  • Shipping and packaging costs for the return are at the customer’s expense.
  • Defective goods will be returned or refunded (if out of stock) by Bortoluzzi Wine Shop.

In case of damaged shipment

If you receive packages from Bortoluzzi Wine Shop visibly damaged by the courier (broken packaging or visibly stained by wine leaking from broken bottles), you can proceed as follows:

  • If it involves multiple packages, reject the damaged package to the sender by signing the courier’s waybill “With Reservation”. We will then take care of returning the damaged package and resending it to you.
  • If it involves a single package, reject the shipment to the sender and as before, we will take care of the return and replacement of the shipment.

In case the broken product is out of stock, you will be contacted for a possible replacement. If you do not find any replacement in our catalog, Bortoluzzi Wine Shop will refund you the amounts paid.
Any shipping costs for the return to the sender of the damaged package and the delivery of the new one are completely at our expense.

Right of Withdrawal

Information on the Right of Withdrawal

Purchases on the website are subject to the rules of D.Lgs. 206/05, which guarantees you the right to withdraw, for any reason, from the purchase contract.

Conditions for the Right of Withdrawal

The purchased item must be substantially intact
The right of withdrawal is reserved only for natural persons, excluding therefore purchases made by retailers or entities that purchase for resale to third parties.
Shipping costs will be borne by the customer
Upon arrival at the warehouse, the goods will be examined to assess any damage or tampering (the substantial integrity of the returned item is an essential condition for exercising the right of withdrawal), therefore we recommend the utmost care in preparing the package, for example using the original packaging.
To exercise this right, you must send us a communication to that effect within 10 days from the date of receipt of the ordered goods and send us the goods within another 15 days.

Procedure to Follow

Send an email to containing the declaration of wanting to exercise the right of withdrawal, indicating all the requested data:

  • order number and order date
  • invoice number
  • which products are to be withdrawn (identifying them with the item code)
  • your bank details (IBAN code)

Then you must wait for a communication from our Customer Service authorizing the return.
After receiving this communication, you must resend the goods subject to return within another 15 days to

Refund Times

Bortoluzzi Wine Shop commits to refunding the customer within 14 working days from the receipt of the goods by crediting the customer with the amount corresponding to the value of the goods as shown on the invoice. This amount does not include shipping costs. This is in accordance with art. 5, paragraph 6, D.Lgs no. 185 of 22/05/1999
